Update February 6, 2022 (updates from Eric):

So big day for the family we are helping. They finished the house, had a dedication ceremony and turned it over to them.

Now some folks in the first world might say it's so small or any number of other things but this is a pretty standard type house here. Her kitchen is a step up from the open fire. Having a toilet means not having to walk down the road in bad weather or darkness. A concrete floor means things can be so much cleaner and drier. A roof that doesn’t leak. Walls that are not a tarp or termite eaten boards. A curtain for the doorway and window for more privacy. Such a step up in quality of life!

We are so glad we could help with this. This family has struggled with a great deal and this will help their quality of life a great deal. Thank you God that we could help be part of the team that was able to bless them so. May God bless all of you who helped make this happen!

There are more of these in the near future as well as prosthetics. We can't fix all the problems but as God provides and puts things in front of us there will always be more to do. Anybody is interested in helping this keep moving please feel free to contact us!

Secondly, the new printer picking up the load for big and /or prints needing supports. This is the cuff for the largest arm yet. Since it has two separate print heads and two rolls of materials I can use a different approach. Our first printer, which is still cranking away in the next bay, we printed everything from one roll and large areas needing support sometimes were challenging to clean up. With this our primary khaki PETG is the part and the supports are cheap white asian PLA. It supports the elevated piece but doesn't really stick to it making removal easier. Further along the PETG will be printing arms right over the top of it. It also pretty much halves the time it takes to print the parts for a full arm. Just finishing up a set of pins and washers on our first printer. At the rate things are growing that's important! Our third bay just might be occupied soon as well. Thank you God for all you're providing! Our area that people have requested from now includes four countries! All word of mouth, no real publicity.

Update January 11, 2022: (updates from Eric):

From December 31, 2021

Well, here it comes. Another new year! This last year certainly had a lot of surprises, ups, downs and course changes. Yet God is still sovereign and we still sail the course he lays out for us! We have been blessed with helping a lot of people this year and hope to help many, many more this next year. We are rearranging things onboard here to fit in more capacity and expanding our abilities of our new work. Retirement is looking to be very busy indeed!

From January 4, 2022:

Our favorite days when we can deliver to a recipient! Dionisio lost his hand in an industrial accident a year and a half ago. Rita saw him in the parking lot in front of her office and went out to meet him and tell him about our program. He lives all the way across the country on the west coast but was driving through. No random happenings with God!

Today we were all very happy to give him a lower arm! He really took to it quickly and said he wants to practice with it until it becomes just a natural part of him. With a few adjustments he did finally get to drink from that glass! This is the best part of our work!

From January 6, 2022:

Today we delivered a lower arm to Edgar. He was so very happy! He hopes he will now be able to get better at his job as a gardener or maybe even a better job! Going to get him a utensil holder next week as well. He said he never imagined he could have something like this. He's working out how to use it to
help hold tools and nails! This is what this is about, changing lives!

Update December 27, 2021:  (update from Eric):

Erick got his hand this morning! It really fit him well which justifies all the extra modifications we did. This is what it's all about. Thank you Team UnLimbited!

Update December 16, 2021:   Sorry for the lag time between updates, home office has been having computer issues.  Here's latest updates from Eric:

Edwar, you have two arms! I think I will also attach something new we were shown on Monday. Called grip enhancers for the palm. That will be quick. I hope to also have time to make some utensil holders I'm experimenting with if I have time to help him.   Thanks for your designs Team UnLimbited. Our first double recipient.

Printed the first utensil holder out of flexible plastic. Going to have a few different designs ready for Edwar to try for us!

Edwar drove here overnight without hands. He's trying them in the car now! He's going to wear just one for the trip home as he adapts to them!

Something else donations have gone for here. We helped with a project to get supplies for a local organization to bring to 11 families living in extreme poverty since the floods a year ago. The group, el Quetzalito (they have a FB group), has been doing everything they can for people struggling with food and basic supplies since losing everything. Huge needs here and we each are doing what we can.
